Unforgettable Excursion by Cycle and by Boat in the Venice Lagoon, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to get to know the works of the Republic of Venice and the Altino Archaeological Park.

PROGRAM

8:00 am Meeting point in Cavallino, ZTL car park, Via Fausta 401, bicycle delivery and presentation of the itinerary
8.45 am Departure: cycle towards Piazza Cavallino and along the Casson Canal to Conche del Cavallino, then along the Sile - Piave Vecchia to Jesolo and Caposile
11.00 am Refreshment break at Chiosco Salsi 17 in Caposile (23 km from the start)
11:30 a.m. Departure along the cycle path between the valleys of the North Lagoon and the Taglio del Sile to Portegrandi and then along the Sile to Altino.
1:00 p.m. Lunch break with genuine local products at the Le Vie di Altino restaurant (38 km from the starting point) Fish-based lunch
2.15 p.m. visit to the Altino archaeological park to discover the Paleo-Venetian and Roman origins of the area
4.00 p.m. we set off again by bicycle to reach the Dese river, from where the boat, after stopping at the islands of Torcello and Burano, takes us to Treporti
5.15 p.m. disembark and continue by bike to Ca'Savio and then along the “Ciclabile del Respiro”, the longest cantilevered cycle path in Europe, which runs along the lagoon
